How to become an HOLA Member & The 2016 Hola Awards

Founded in 1975 by a group of Hispanic actors concerned with the images of Latinos in the media, The Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors (HOLA ) is an arts service and advocacy organization dedicated to expanding the presence of Hispanic artists in entertainment and media through the cultivation, education and recognition of for such emerging artists working on stage, on television and in films.

Latina Actresses/Actors can become Hola members by paying the annual membership:

Annual Membership Cost: $125

(Includes Hola Directory)

An additional annual fee of $15 to be listed as a voice-over artist on the Hola pages directory.

2016 Annual Hola Awards is for individuals who have demonstrated excellence in their field, the 2016 Hola Awards, the Seventeenth Annual Hola Awards Gala and Benefit will honor Actors, Performers as well as an Attorney.

When: Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 6pm

Christina Soto, is an award-winning photographer/filmmaker/playwright, born and raised in New York City. Her photography has been in numerous juried and group shows on both the East Coast and the Southwest. She has won awards from the Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown, N J., and the Old Church Cultural Center Gallery, Demarest, N.J. In 2007, Christina co-wrote and produced, MUNECA, a feature film which had its World Premiere in OLAFEST 2008 and REEL RASQUACHE 2008. She has worked on more than 20 independent Latino films. In its third year, she organized and founded the Hudson County Youth Video Event in collaboration with the Jersey City Museum. The JCMuseum screened her short film, PERROS SIN AMOR, during the 2006 Artist Studio Tour, which went on to screen at other film festivals across the country and internationally.
